How UView Works
After you sign up for UView Support or UView+, our techs will provide everything you need to get started:
Two ROKU Ultra streaming players with remotes, which will replace your cable TV set-top boxes and their remotes*
Installation of these devices, which includes helping you download and log in to the UView app and begin navigating it, for a one-time fee of $49.95
We prefer you use a router from Venture Communications, since it enables us to remotely identify and resolve many potential issues.
*You can purchase more ROKU Ultra streaming players, but each additional one would be $100.
**A dynamic IP address changes whenever the device connects, but a static IP address stays the same. UView provides a static IP address so that your IP will not change when your router reboots due to power loss, upgrades, or other network issues. This is important because if your IP changes too often, many streaming providers won’t allow you to stream video until you verify your IP with them. Who needs the hassle?
